It is a turning point.

I think it's still unclear as to what the impact will be. Processing more information more quickly is a benefit. But, I think there will be hidden costs that will surface in the future. Reading comprehension, critical thinking, and synthesis are skills that need to be honed or they are lost.

And, being presented with information that is collected and filtered by opaque algorithms with big tech biases will lead to consensus thinking over truth and is prone to mass manipulation. Seeing the world through that lens is not good for the world.

absolutely some ‚skills‘ will not used.

for example the reading comprehension.

but same goes for podcast listening. and I am super grateful to process this information trough my ears as than through my eyes.

it is another format to digest information. and since we live in a world where you get bombarded with unwanted info (like on twitter) i welcome every technology that gives me the info efficiently so I save time
