Whats the file size?

iOS damus nostr.build upload max size is 21mb if I am not mistaken.

You can use Rumble. Just add the link to flarepub.

You can also self host if you're technical enough.

Use https://nostr.build to upload and host your content, then just post link on nostr.

There’s a bug in our damus Mac version right now which causes the crash. Will bring that up with the devs to see how quickly we can fix. It bugs me too! Haha nostr:npub13v47pg9dxjq96an8jfev9znhm0k7ntwtlh9y335paj9kyjsjpznqzzl3l8 maybe next week? Not sure how difficult the fix is.

You might want to use Handbrake to compress under the free 21MB limit.

Nostr, the protocol, doesn’t support video. To share a video, what you really share is a link to the video file. Clients then see the link, peek at the URL content, and when they see it’s a video, they show a player where the user can fetch and play the content.

So technically speaking, you can host the video anywhere. An Amazon S3 bucket would work, or maybe Dropbox? And of course there are Nostr-affiliated content hosting providers, as others have said.

I just want to clarify that, so far, the Nostr protocol itself is text only. All other content you see is hosted somewhere else, not served by a Nostr relay using the Nostr protocol.

second option, pay for premium services in Nostr, I will suggest one that not bind you to a client, more over a bad one. Services like Nostt.build have paid plans with storage for that matter, or compress your videos to under 21 MB and use Amethyst or another client to upload the videos free
