wow okay this makes it extra worth it

tough decision between using nostr:nprofile1qqstxwlea9ah3u6kjjszu6a7lrnhqkfh8eptp2z6v0e9558tlkkl2rgpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszxnhwden5te0wfjkccte9ekkjmnfvf5hguewvdshx6p0qythwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnswf5k6ctv9ehx2ap0wsvavr to support ecash and using nostr:nprofile1qqsyv47lazt9h6ycp2fsw270khje5egjgsrdkrupjg27u796g7f5k0spzemhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejz7qgwwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkctcprdmhxue69uhkummnw3ez6vfwde3x7tnpdenkzmnf9e3k75xqss4 connected to my own Lightning node.
I've been loyal to Minibits for nearly my whole tenure on nostr (except for a 1 month experiment using a PWA #cashu wallet) but I need the LN node maintenance experience, so I'm hopping over to Alby for a little!
kind of frustrating that its like "cosmetic sovereignty"... if Alby disappears that address won't resolve.
...okay damn, yea, I want to run all my own lightning infrastructure... hold my beer
How'd you do it?
let me know if you have questions!
I'm about to replace it with a self-hosted lnurlp but this does work nicely!
I tried it, but when go to check, it keeps trying to download the json file from my server. You think it's because I'm using a proxy? 🤷🏾♂️
this might just be the behavior of the client you are using to test. if the downloaded json file looks correct then it should work - try the real deal
