If zaps are meant to have no regard for an individual's privacy, then I suppose it makes sense to show it if the data is captured.

Agreed, I'm not trying to say this is a bad idea. I'm thinking of it more from the perspective of, if the event is already capturing the amount of sats I send, then I think it should display that rather than hide it from the user.
If I'm transmitting that data to relays, I want to be aware of it.
