Sesame seed oil here in Korea is fantastic. My grandma gets sesame seeds as payment for lease of her rice fields a local oiler presses them and gives us the oil in old soju bottles… it’s truly amazing stuff… with raw beef, for dipping bbq beef, on rice, spinach, and many more.

Nice! I heard the seed oils are bad from the way they mass produce the oil with high heat. I think if it is just pressed it might be OK.

I too am unfamiliar with the intricacies of seed oil politics but I do feel that there are some good eggs amongst the seed oil family :) and my sesame oil tastes frikin yum!!! 😋
