Sad.
I always tell noobs if anyone ever asks for passwords, seed phrases, secrets, or 2FA then it’s a scam. Pause. Take a deep breath. Walk away. Call a trusted friend/family member or in the case of Bitcoin, bring it to your next Bitdevs and ask the experts. Finally don’t shitcoin or use Coinbase.
I'm kinda not feeling sad for this guy.
He's like one of those that drive on the highway in the wrong direction and then gets squashed by a truck.
There were sings - everybody told you "wrong way", everyone warned you, but you just kept going, giving out a seed phrase on demand when everyone told you "nobody legit will ever ask you about your seed phrase".
It's survival of the fittest.
when I was a noob in college and still messing around with shitcoins I got scammed out of like $300 worth of ETH. It wasn’t a lot, but at the time for me it was and it really sucked. Luckily it was one of the things that led me to not being a moron and being BTC in cold storage only, but I always feel a little pain when I hear these stories. So sad. And I feel like the amount of scams across the board right now is higher than I’ve ever seen
Everyone clowns on the maxi purists until shit goes sideways
