New cheat code, the UX/manual horribleness of some of the best devices that you set once are no longer a deal breaker.

Upload PDF manual to nostr:npub17304velluajf6lylvjynpj2f3ndg396w063gj2gef5qk0nwtcyjqfj9yky then have it give me very digestible step by steps 😆

I did this for new hire training materials. Bandsaws, iron workers, chop saws and drill presses. Cut my OSHA mandatory training in half.

Damn. Great idea.

Maybe people will start doing this with the manuals they write. Some people believe that more is better in manuals when it isn't.

I'm seeing more and more "quick start" sections for industrial machinery these days.

But the corporate lawyers are always going to mandate pork to make the warranties worthless, and the engineers are going to have the noise to make themselves seem useful.

Yeah, some domains will always have unique issues.

And frankly, some manuals should contain a lot more information than others, but not unnecessary amounts of words to explain the information. That's what I have a problem with. Say what needs to be said in the fewest number of words.

Like the things I've had to read before performing certain procedures on a patient. I'm not plugging that into some AI lol I'm reading it. But every medical book or manual I've read could be improved.
