Easy verification would be to post your public key on your twitter account. Or write a Substack post about it.

Is that the same as my account ID? Apologies, I’m a bit slow at this.

With Nostr you have your public key, and private key. It’s the public key that you can share. It’s visible on your profile.

What client are you using, Damus on iOS is great.

I’m using Damus….

your "npub" is your public key. This can be shared on another platform/account of yours such as substack to verify yourself in the nostr world..

Do not share your "nsec" - your private key

welcome

#[4] did a nice video on Nostr. He’s kind of the go to how to guy for this kind of stuff.

Nice! A tip for you, and to make your profile look even more verified as you as well as more professional..

Use your own custom domain to verify yourself on Nostr.

It can be any domain that you own, just follow the instructions here;

Welcome!

So from your profile, your public key is;

npub16dmvfhm7uwkxnhxg30k6aczw23wxhgvs62n3puzl5tykpa4aa8esja83yd

You're not the only one. Probably not the only one who is impatient for this technology to mature. I get a warm fuzzy feeling thinking about obsoleteing Zuckerberg and Musk.

I found Matt's account and discovered Nostr itself through Matt's Substack post. Good work!
