Depending on the necessary skill, just write down the idea and give yourself permission to learn small pieces over time. When you're ready, the idea will be there for you ❤️

Not sure if this software based or not but I don’t think there is any shame in a best effort written prototype. May not be the best most robust code but the idea still gets across and we have lots of helpful people here to help.
I feel ya. I just try to go back and learn something basic that’s unrelated. Eventually it usually ends up connecting the dots later.
