Never figured out what's up with this, but it's baffled me for a long time.

In my single days, if I commented on how attractive this or that gal was, if she was Black, the occasional person (always some person I knew) would mouth to me "she's Black."

Are there people out there who really believe others are totally unaware of skintone? Do they feel the need to educate some aspect of their social contract?

I've never figured it out.

Like, yeah, she's hot, but she's also more likely to be:

* abrasive

* overbearing

* entitled

* loud

* inconsiderate

* walking around with a huge chip on her shoulder

and you're too wrapped up in how hot she is to be taking those possibilities into consideration.
