Whoa. What went down last night? As much as I’d love a protocol to fix our societal issues, it can never do that. At best, it can be a tool that can be used to connect, discuss, and address those issues… and I hope we get there. Are there things we can do to improve nostr on a protocol level? Yes, and we should. But social apps will reflect social realities - and the work that needs to be done to fix those issues is at the human level. And I hope we do that work, too.
