I think people on the left want to feel like they are fighting for something, but they will only fight for issues once they are basically solved because they are mostly cowards. Race & homosexuality aren't actually serious issues anymore which means the most cowardly can feel safe acting like they are fighting some grand evil that they have simply imagined. And in so doing their irrationality & their effort to find or create some pushback to confirm the belief that there is actually a struggle, causes them to behave in ways that are horrible & ultimately foster a deeply unhealthy culture, which then becomes associated with all the things they claim to defend, granting legitimate reasons to oppose anyone associated with any of it. I think the "progressive" left is more destructive to gay people than any group of bigots could ever hope to be.

I am partially in agreement with you

I agree that progressive activism is harmful to social perception of sodomites

I disagree that sodomites would not inevitably foster that same negative perception anyway. Once sex is no longer about reproduction, why wait for the age of reproductive maturity? At what age does a boy's bottom become fertile? Once sex is no longer about reproduction, why not surgically enhance yourself (or your partner) for your desired mode of sodomy?

But puberty isn't really what determines legality either...

As a most definitely not-progressive..... this post feels like a cheap shot to feel superior and self righteous, based on a straw man of progressives. it's really cringe.

Okay... So you think that racism & bigotry toward the alphbet people has become especially bad in the 2000s justifying all the new energy & focus on these things?

But what about leftie firefighters

I think those "issues" are manufactured and sold to the public by the same ones who are working to divide the population, destroy their culture and values, and flood them with migrants.

I hear you, but people didn't make a big deal about poverty when poverty was really a problem. They didn't really get mad about industrial pollution causing rivers to literally catch fire until the problem was almost completely solved. And always the reaction causes some part of the problem to become permanent & never be solved. There are certainly people who want everyone divided & at odds for different reasons, but the things they can get people to focus on at particular times seem to be somewhat limited & to follow a pattern.

In primary school we played a game called Happy Town. A killer was nominated and then each night had to kill someone and then in the day shift blame from themselves.

The only time I remember playing the game, I was the killer, and I won by adopting the strategy of yelling loudly each day that someone else was the murderer (and them often giving guilty smirks despite not being). I realised this was not a good power to have.

Many such cases

I’d add that they have no idea how to actually be in charge. All they know is being “the resistance”.
