I am going to the Bitcoin 2023 Conference next week. Just went through the agenda. 2 things stood out.

1. There is only ONE nostr session.

2. The number of $10,499 Whale-Pass-only sessions is very high, making the conference feel very have/have-not and extremely Un-Nostrica Un-UnConference-like.

The theme skewed very 'investor' with only passing interest in societal good. We are all definitely NOT in this altogether. Very different than 2 years ago.

I will NOT be attending in 2024.

As someone that will be moderating the Nostr session you mention - I understand organization... there is huge demand for time on the stage.

And #nostrica changed the game... created more demand for Nostr content!

For what is worth, I am also helping organize few Nostr events; will see with organizers if they can be highlighted more. In the meantime I'm inviting you - and any other plebs - to join us.
