Working out is just a mind game:

- Work out every week even if you don't feel like it

- Continue until failure otherwise your body is not under stress and will not adapt

- Form is important and takes continual mental effort (Poor form and "ego lifting" just lead to injury - don't be ashamed to lift light weights)

- Do not waste your time with useless isolation exercises like bicep curls. Instead do deadlifts, squats, pull ups, push ups, overhead barbell shoulder press, etc. If you don't know how to do these properly, invest in some PT sessions to get started.

- Low time preference: do not rush, do not cut corners, do not skip your warm up.
