Yeah, my dad said to me today "But the CIA is not legally allowed to operate inside the U.S." and I'm like "That hasn't stopped them before."

I only know of Mkultra (the Mkultra FAMOUS one). Where else has the CIA conducted operations within the US that is of public knowledge?

Yeah, you could add JFK's assassination for the conspiracy nuts!

MK Ultra is bad enough itself, but yes, I also include the JFK assassination. Read enough and you'll see that the CIA and elements of the US government were behind it. Some good books are The Devil's Chessboard: Allen Dulles, the CIA, and the Rise of America's Secret Government by David Talbot, and The Brothers: John Foster Dulles, Allen Dulles, and Their Secret World War by Stephen Kinzer.

Operation Mockingbird is another one "that began in the early years of the Cold War and attempted to manipulate domestic American news media organizations for propaganda purposes. " https://w3.do/JHalqTu3

This link also lists several CIA operations within the US: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/CIA_activities_in_the_United_States

(Note that it only goes to 1977, which is all the CIA apparently will disclose at this point)
