For those still under the effect of Apple's propaganda, there is now a government official document where Apple clearly states that the reason green text bubbles occur is because they are purposely using outdated architecture that also purposely lowers the quality of photos sent by non-Apple devices. So, to be clear, when you boast about how Android is "blurry", what's actually happening is Apple is diminishing the quality of your experience so you continue to believe their brand is superior. You are paying a premium price for less interoperability. Android users on the other hand have an updated SMS architecture that does not discriminate or lower quality from any device it receives MMS from. Apple used these arguments to claim that it's impossible for it to be a monopoly when their products are inferior and further behind the competition, technically speaking. So, it's no longer just technical rumors, Apple devices are literally inferior according to Apple's own claims as to why it's technically not a monopoly.
