It'e better to store backyard fresh ones unwashed and room temp, and only wash right before eating them
That’s the old school way. I’m sure you’re right for freshness. I wash them because I know my kids won’t wash them before using. I’ll need to take your advise and have some marked as unwashed for me to use when cooking. Great suggestion!
