There’s quite a few musicians on here. I for one am an electronic music producer, ambient, granular and synth stuff. I mainly use an iPad and my aim is to promote mobile music.

Do you know of Wavlake.com?? Well worth checking out. You can earn sats there and it really does work.

Very cool Nick! Love the mobile music idea. I often combine electronic instruments and live processing with classical acoustic instruments — I’m always trying to streamline those setups for performance/touring. I still use a laptop with MainStage or Ableton. It would be a dream to have it work well on iPad!! I’ve been hearing about Wavlake.com — what state of “release” do you put on there? Is it like proper finished recordings? I.e. recorded well, mixed, mastered etc? Or can it be more informal?

Now that sounds very interesting, always enjoy a hybrid approach to music like that. I’ve also got a Mac running Ableton, that I use from time to time. The iPad has taken over somewhat of late; could combine them, build TouchOsc interfaces for Ableton and use as a performance device. Worth a look.

As for Wavlake, both really, informal works well. I publish my jams there but have put up one or two mastered tracks. That said they’re mastered by me and nobody else.

There are some top flight people on there like nostr:nprofile1qqsz3jspndutf9xzt2w694j9jadg2qw8axd3zvpwtjl8frh9j07t9nqpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz8thwden5te0dehhxarj9ekh2arfdeuhwctvd3jhgtnrdakj74m56sn and nostr:nprofile1qqsgsp3h9t6329dlfthcqu53h9jg06scymykdf2ed09gv6tmtk9j80qpr4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ytnhd9ex2erwv46zu6nsqyxhwumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmvcw0s7r - both on Tunestr, which I’ve not checked out.

There are many more out there.

Thank you Nick! That’s cool to know about wavlake and that you’ve posted different kinds of stuff there. I’ll definitely keep that in mind! Yes I’ve come across Joe Martin and Ainsley!
