#plebchain quick question . If i want to mention someone on a post . Do i @somebody for example like in the dead Bird or how does it work here ?

The problem i see is if i @somebody there will be someone else with the same name . So how does #nostr know who i want to mention ? Hopefully i didnt make it more complicated then it is .

Scroll the name. Or you can do it the OG way and @their npub.

When you type the @ then start typing the name. If it’s giving you multiple suggestions scroll down to the proper name.

That’s how it works for me with Damus at least.

If your following them, yes that will work. If your not following them, best thing to do is to @ their npub.

A common mistake is forgetting the @ in front of the npub. Without the @ it doesn’t tag them. It’s a common mistake (at least it was for me)🤙🏻
