The former convinced me that Bitcoin wouldn't go to zero, as the decentralised community will make the right decision
And the latter convinced me that Bitcoin wouldn't just be a gold substitute, to be transferred slowly on chain by rich institutions, but could be used by anyone for fast transactions with amounts of any size.
