they are the best, but sometimes hard to find the proper proper ones

i also kinda stopped using them at all in recent years because of using HEPA air filters with ionisers and such... to be honest, i would prefer teh incense plus a simple old school ioniser, just something that knocks the pm2.5 and smaller out because that's the worst of it, the hepa filters seem icky to me, after they run for a while they start to have a smell about them that is not nice, but ionisers never wear out, maybe you have to sharpen the pins every few years if they get rusty

I'm fortunate to have a pretty reliable supply chain for good intense.

I backed off of air filtration out of curiosity and haven't went back. But yeah, i agree, hepa is great with pets but upkeep is a pain

Incense* intense Incense 😅

oh yeah, they are definitely good with cats especially cats with fine fur

i don't like them unless they have good ionisers and UV tho, the best is UV with titanium oxide catalyst and proper fucking ionisers, when you get all three proper, yeah, it's like a zone of clean... but it doesn't really matter where i am, aside from the odd sahara dust storm the air quality here is stellar, being 500 miles off the mainland of africa... especially in inner city Sofia and even in the burbs in Varna it was definitely worth having... city air is bleecchhh

varna was worse too... big industrial zone all the way up the river to the giant lime mines further inland... kick up a lot of crap into the air... and you can see it also, black sea beaches are pretty mucky, i wouldn't recommend swimming in them... better to go to croatia beaches, best beaches in europe
