My little gif isn’t animating. Looks like nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 doesn’t upload gifs correctly to nostr:npub1nxy4qpqnld6kmpphjykvx2lqwvxmuxluddwjamm4nc29ds3elyzsm5avr7 while authoring a note.

I’m trying now in Damus with the same gif

This happens to me all the time. Assumed it was a Damus thing. 🤷
Really? I’m using Damus and the 2nd and 3rd are animated fine. Check your version? My iPhone is old ass iPhone 12 also!

Im not using TestFlight anymore, so weird. Do any other gifs animate for you? How about if you upload a gif?

I see that it is trying to rebuild the gif from this commit, maybe we can just upload gifs as is? how common is metadata in gifs ?

I am on TF version now and besides the first note, all is animated for me 🐶🐾🫡
I’m on TF 1.9 (1) as well. Uploaded the gif from my Photo Library while composing the note.
