Not concerned exactly, just planning ahead and wondering if animals bought at fairs have a general good or bad reputation.
Itβs a good question i donβt have personal experience to give you but I hadnβt thought of it as a source and I think itβs a good idea. The whole purpose of county and state fairs was to encourage the breeding of animals that perform well for agricultural purposes, right?

Yep, not only animals but farm products as well. Some of the best wine Iβve ever had came out of a small producer that always bought their grapes from whoever got the blue ribbon for grapes at the country fair.
