Remember ⚡️zaps⚡️ are more than just a regular lightning tip. Still seeing a few posts confusing the two. You will receive all lightning tips as long as you have any functional Lightning Address or LNURL. You will see tip amounts on your Nostr posts/profile/notifications IF AND ONLY IF your receiving wallet has implemented NIP-57.

Not a dumb question at all! Zaps are lighting tips that are tied to the note you are “zapping”. So this way, there is a “receipt”, and information such as how many sats were tipped, and from who can be tied to the individual note. Make sense? Check out this note from #[5]
