I hate this question. It always comes from guys that can’t do anything useful and expect their women to be their mothers. It’s totally different if they ask “Do you like to cook?” Because cooking can be a hobby that both can enjoy. But “Can you cook?” sounds like a question a stupid brat who can’t do anything by himself would ask.
