You know what. I have a tendency to have very strong opinions, loosely held.
I like their movies. I like their shows. Sure they seem to really be into organ harvesting & fiat money scams; and possibly the underage sex trade BUT I don’t know enough to call it a shithole.
I am now open to a visit to Korea. I’ve done a full 180. Dead serious.
real Korean food in Korea: mostly great, very unique.
infrastructure: absolutely world class
culture: lacking, hyper materialistic, end stage capitalism with no soul. brutally conformist.
just my opinions on the place.

The brutally conformist side of things always concerns me. Don’t ever get in trouble in one of these places. It won’t end well.
