I've yet to come across a useful measure of tech debt. It is usually qualitative and subjective by the devs. I'd love to hear if others have approaches, specifically in the open source context.

yea, i reckon it tends to be subjective initially and over time when thoughts, experience, realisation comes together it forms a more substantial output - perhaps a way to understand how to help better too
