Is there a gentle guide for the Clojure community somewhere? Like an article showing what is the current state-of-the-art, the most used libraries and practices for each purpose?

Clojure-doc is a pretty good starter resource. It gives an overview over the language, repl, libraries, build tools et al.

You can also find links to videos, training sites, tutorials etc. on the official https://clojure.org/community/resources
