A definition of garbage would have to be established then. I do see all kinds of events currently when I am not paywalling, but I haven't seen any meaningful amounts of outright spam. Just people posting what they want to say in various languages, even if I don't find most things said particularly interesting myself.
Do you suggest limiting relay content to a particular topic, e.g. programming, or what is your intent?
Interesting, could work short-term as you suggest. Not sure if it would be very effective but could be worth a shot before longer term solutions can take its place. Generating and sending notes to such a list should not be too difficult to implement at least.
I actually really like this part of coracle.social, checking notes on relays in this way is indeed interesting, wish more clients had this.
Relay operators: paid relays, yay or nay? How are you sustaining yourselves? For example I run a relay for verified users @ nostr.zerofiat.world but I am not paywalling it at the moment. I'm not sure adding a paywall would help if I wanted to run it long-term either.
I guess the most fair system would be pay-per-use (i.e. streaming sats in some fashion) but I cannot find any good information about it. Is this a solved problem or what are the current challenges with it?
I've read Neuromancer but not this one, you recommend Snow Crash I take it?
Has anyone tried https://bard.google.com/ ? How does it stack up against chatGPT? I can't try it ootb because of my geolocation, anyone had success with VPNs to bypass?

I am running a relay for verified users (NIP-05), feel free to join: wss://nostr.zerofiat.world
I've also added the relay to nostr.watch where you can verify / find out more about the relay: https://nostr.watch/relay/nostr.zerofiat.world
I am now running a nostr rust relay for all NIP-05 verified users (for now). Feel free to use it at wss://nostr.zerofiat.world if you are verified.
#nostrplebs are welcome. β‘οΈ
I am still working out how many server resources I need to run it effectively. I need active users first. Donations will go to upkeep and scaling up server resources as needed.

LOST EVERYONE YOU WERE FOLLOWING? NOSTRGRAM TO THE RESCUE!
I hear losing everyone you were following has been an issue due to some buggy Nostr clients out there. NostrGram saves your bacon by restoring your previous following list in a couple of clicks. Watch the video to see how it works!
Try it out at https://nsotrgram.co/
Already in NostrGram? Refresh the page to get the update!
I hope this link works, I've had to do this twice as well.

Clojure-doc is a pretty good starter resource. It gives an overview over the language, repl, libraries, build tools et al.
You can also find links to videos, training sites, tutorials etc. on the official https://clojure.org/community/resources
I would look at Clojure + ring first, less things to think about.
Would you be willing to pay a subscription fee (lightning invoice) for a high-quality Nostr relay? Why or why not?
We are assuming that the relay would have good filters, uptime, and availability.
