As someone who has lived in the south for many years: niggers are real it's a real thing you can't operate here like it's not.

Is this the "there are normal black people and then there niggers" concept? Sort of like Thomas Sowell when he says, "black rednecks?"

Nuanced definitions are not the norm. Using the word with a hard "r" gives most people the impression that you are just referring to black people.
