Why do you implement liquid before monero? You could also implement wrapped btc on eth. Makes absolute no sense to me.
Don't really understand this either considering that Monero is usually the most traded currency on Bisq besides on-chain Bitcoin

Because they are maxis that will get eaten by their own pride before they come to implement Monero in 2 years.
With RetoSwap growing quite nicely, they will have lost at least 50% of the market share by then.

If you were smart, anticipating the dystopian near future you'd put all your effort in making Monero as easily available as it gets.
Seems Bisq dev are neither smart NIR do they have a sense for where society is heading in the near future.
My understanding is the roadmap is not set in stone and if a dev joins who wants to work on XMR atomic swaps then it will get implemented sooner.
As it stands the current devs involved in the project don't have much familiarity with XMR Atomic Swaps, hence it appears last on the roadmap.
Very nice to see progress.
I'm especially looking forward to the trade protocols that can be added after these are completed.
