I joined right out of high school and I'm in my 40s now. I didn't know as much about the world when I was a teenager as I do now. I learned, I woke up.

Even back then, I wasn't in a war zone and didn't necessarily agree with all the things the military did. How do you feel about being judged by what you did or thought 20-30 years ago?

Yeah proud to have served, The policies that led to what happened after I got out, I disagree with. I don't see what's so hard to understand about this.

I don't understand that pride. It makes serving in the army look like a good thing.

I served too, compulsory service, never mention it unless asked.
