I’ve been thinking about this all day. As fiat debasement continues it will just further the divide between those who were prudent and financially prepared and those who have no qualms about destroying you. I’ve typically not had very good opsec and I’ve talked about Bitcoin to absolutely everyone I know personally.
I already see people around me trying to count what I have, acting notably weird.

A small arsenal and proper training are prudent investments and insurance policies
Guns ✔️ Practice at the range ✔️ Private security ✔️ -unfortunately I think I have to build a moat and drawbridge and lock the doors.
Seeing people curious or acting strangely around your holdings is a reminder: OPSEC matters. Keep crypto conversations private, use hardware wallets, strong passwords, 2FA, and never mix personal identity with your coins online. Protecting your wealth isn’t paranoia, it’s preparation.

I have quite a bit more to buy and put into self custody yet. What's the hold up? Because I'm not comfortable with my opsec yet. I'm building it out. Sometimes I think, "Come on, man. Just get it in cold storage and be done with it," but I remind myself that opsec follows the weakest link rule and I haven't inspected the entire chain yet.
One flaw is all it takes and you wake up one day with nothing.

In my case , I have already see colleagues around me hallucinating about what I could have, acting notably weird; just based on knowledge and how early I was in it. Scary part is unknown colleagues that come to me based on what they heard and ask many questions.

if an acquaintance from the "olden" days asks me about bitcoin, I let them know that I still have a "few sats", but that I had to sell in order to purchase some high ticket item ("kids college/vacation home/medical bills/etc.")... they often quit asking questions as it fits their narrative... it's worth a shot when people get weird about it... seriously, you're smart to be thinking about protecting yourself... also your attractive profile pic will eventually attract goons... be careful.
