Devs,
If you show a preview of the DM before she accepts them, then they can write obsecene things and she has no choice to not-read them.
If you then fail to remove them from the list, when she mutes them, she has to stare at that text every time she looks at her DMs, until she gets enough new DMers to push it down the list and off her screen.
It'd be nice if new DM's were bumped to the top and It'd be nice to have a setting to recieve DM's only from those one follows.
In Damus, whether you follow the person or not, all new DMs go into a request tab, separate from the DMs tab
it's like that in Freerse, too, but with a preview.
I hardly ever click that tab.
Most of the time I don’t even use the DMs. They just get forgotten 🤷🏾♂️
I usually only check the ones I've accepted requests from.
