The Islamic regime in Iran inflicts hardship on us every day. The internet is filtered, so we are forced to access #Nostr and other websites and social media using VPN. Additionally, the internet is so slow that sometimes we have to wait for many minutes and hours each day to receive a connection. We strongly hate them.

I'm sorry for what you have to deal with everyday, no one deserves that. I just want to clarify that the only thing "islamic" about the regime is the name alone, islam does not promote censorship but in fact promotes free speech. bitcoin is also the only halal money free of interest. the note is gaining traction and so just don't want misinformation to spread :)
The same way the USGov in America is in no way a “christian” government. Christianity advocates peace in all things. It also does not recognize state authority. A coercive state endlessly selling weapons and starting wars is exactly opposite the teachings of Christ Jesus.
100% agree with you, I don't think there are any governments today taking their stated religion seriously, it's very sad

Same was true under pre 1989 commie regime in Eastern Europe. Christians were persecuted, as the state religion was authoritarianism.
I am starting to see parallels in 21st century so-called western world.

I suggest visiting Shiraz, Esfahan, Yazd, Bushehr, and Mazandaran. Iran is a beautiful country, and each city has its own unique beauty, and the people are really kind.
