Not finished yet but I have a question for y'all. What do y'all think of bandcamp?

I get the spotify hate. I like the v4v work going on. Bit tbh, I really like bandcamp. I like how you can buy the flacs and have them. I like buying the merch (mainly vinyl and tape).

I'm sure there cut is probably more than wavlake but is it not also a #v4v platform? You can pay what you want.

I get that bandcamp is not bitcoinified, but what's the feeling from yall. It can't be more niche than nostr 😀

Really enjoying this episode so far.

Have you thought about putting a split in for the guest so they can also see the Boostagrams we send in? I wanted to send a Boostagram with a comment on something Abel said but realized he didn't have a split so he wouldn't see it. 😥

Here's my comment - Abel most of the host for these V4V music shows keep an eye on the search tab on LNBeats.com to see what new music is coming out and if someone finds something new they like then they play it.

Jim's episodes have a 50/50 split with the guest. This is all voluntary but giving the guest a piece of the action is really cool imo. The artist gets most of the sats when their song is playing. This is just during the song itself. I hope this makes sense. 😅

Most podcasting 2.0 apps let you see the splits.

When you send a Boost in nostr:npub1v5ufyh4lkeslgxxcclg8f0hzazhaw7rsrhvfquxzm2fk64c72hps45n0v5 you can click the “splits” button in the top right and it will show the splits for the show or track your Boosting.
