got in an accident with the 3000gt today :( rear ended.
not too much damage, but the guy tried to drive off and i followed his ass all the way to his destination. he was very angry. told him it was either you give me your insurance information, or i call the cops and tell them you did a hit and run. that shut him up pretty fast.
dude had a brand new mercedes AMG, but tried to act like he was broke. He messed with the wrong girl.

i know :( it’s okay, i luckily have a friend who works at a body repair shop and can help me out.
hope the dude knows he’s probably going to have to pay for the new paint job i needed now. thanks for ruining the paint and body LOL

the car is super heavy duty though, should’ve had more damage than it did. his car is ruined though

I would’ve been like fuck him, cops being called. Granted I was rear-ended by a brand new Mercedes years ago. It was a shit-show of a situation. Had to get a lawyer. My lawyer asked what resolution I was hoping for and I said the car and a baseball bat.

i know i should’ve, but after explaining to him that he will get arrested and either get a felony or misdemeanor charge, it scared him enough to calm down. i didn’t want him to ruin his own life over an accident

first i’ll send him an estimate and if he refuses go through his insurance. giving him a chance to deal with it on his own, bc insurance will fuck him up if i do have to go through them

I used to work at Porsche’s corporate office and the conversations at lunch were always about the 3 classes of people: hobbyist (car lovers & collectors), assholes (wealthy, arrogant professionals), and everyone else (the people who want it, have it, and can’t afford it).
I’ve also seen people skip rent/utility payments to rent M series BMW’s. People want to feel luxurious but most don’t have a pot to pee in or a window to throw it out.
Ur not wrong lol my friend works for a big 3 auto insurance provider. They’re basically a big data co and social credit score. He tells me “if you ever see a Mercedes get away from it. They’re never insured because the people driving them can’t afford it.”
so dumb. i never understand why people buy cars that they know they can’t afford. i have only bought my cars full in cash, used.
Maybe he was really broke, but there are people who like to keep up appearances. That's why I say that we shouldn't trust appearances, whether for good or for bad. Appearances can be deceiving.
