They do not let you take self custody if your Bitcoin. They limit sending (not selling) Bitcoin to $2K a day and $5K a week. This makes very small UTXO. When asked they say it is to “protect users” and comply with regulations, but no other exchanges have this.

Some exchanges set up auto withdrawal to cold storage and promote self custody. CashApp inhibits this strongly.

They express their transfer limits in USD, so when they started the limit might’ve been 1BTC or so, now the limits is .02 Bitcoin- that’s all you can move, because “protection” and “regulation”.

yea the limits suck, bitkey has no limits because it is self custody

It actually does have limits for buying. The most you can buy at once on Bitkey through Cash App is $2k and regardless of vendor the max is $29k. The same is probably also true for selling.

Sure, sending P2P on Bitkey is unlimited like with any bitcoin L1 wallet, but that’s almost irrelevant since their users will get and sell the bitcoin through the bitkey interface, which had the previous mentioned limits.

I get their key demo is thousand dollar networthers (no offense), but those limits are kind of ridiculous tbh

I would like primarily for CashApp to be more like Bitkey or Swan. Yes Swan is better than CashApp on many factors.

Then Tidal and Square. Does Jack not have influence on them? Nostr+Tidal!! One Tidal dev is on here and has done a tidal embed that works.

I want nostr:nprofile1qqsgydql3q4ka27d9wnlrmus4tvkrnc8ftc4h8h5fgyln54gl0a7dgspzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wvh8xmmrd9skcqgdwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkcmvwljq ‘s decentralized company (Block) to spread the love to his fiat companies (CashApp, Tidal, Square). I want Tidal to be the fiat streaming channel of Bitcoiners and promote V4V

CashApp, the first exchange to make sats the standard, is so anti bitcoin. Obviously /s
