don't need to, it's Google. every product they make is either something posing as a benefit but aids in data scraping or it is a way into something so they can gain a foothold. do not trust them, do not be naive.

frankly google is the most non-bullshit company of the bullshit company, they do a lot of good things technically speaking.
Still, I learned to avoid touching anything they do cause they always tried to exploit me as user in some way in the long run.
