It is astounding how many EVs are in the Denver Metro Area...mostly Tesla. Seems like most of my clients are driving Teslas and they definitely love them.
I'm not a fan when the powers that be are disingenuous in regard to full lifecycle analysis of producing (and retiring) the vehicles and their component parts (same goes for solar and wind, in my opinion). Then they compound it by absolutely demonizing and trying to make illegal all ICE vehicles.
Regardless, let the smart money go to the smart projects...don't mandate/dictate. If it remains fossil fuel - great. If it proves to be more EV focused...great! But let the free market decide - no subsidies other than private sector.
By the way - if they come up with nuclear at the vehicle level (or house), I'm all in.
And I love my Jeep...and trust it on heavy snow versus an EV with short battery life and potential adverse effects of extreme cold. Ah, and I don't want someone "bricking" my Tesla because I've been a baaaad boy...as unilaterally determined by them.
