I'm not even sure there is an advantage to banking. It might be a step backwards.
Ethereum will be everthing bad about the current system cranked to 11.
Intermediaries and censorship taken to new smart contract heights.
But yea, if people can find a way to live without such systems that would be good.
ages back, banking was a step ahead, now it would be step back if we want to step in again.
