Spent most of yesterday and this morning going round in circles trying to get Podcasting 2.0, lightning on my self hostedPeerTube live stream. Technically it should be possible but plugins don’t work and stream key vanishes.
Feels like I’m the only person doing this combination of things where I stream live, then onto RSS feeds but most importantly, self hosting the files. I’m leaving GitHub and forum posts but nothing so far.

I have the Podcasting2 plugin installed but the lightning plugin won't install, I just get an error saying it can't be loaded.
I have now retrieved the stream key, another plugin was over riding it and I have removed it (I removed all plugins as part of my troubleshooting process)

Workflow.
If I use Owncast for my stream and record in OBS I can upload the file to PeerTube, this works ok but is timeconsuming. If I could stream direct from PeerTube I could save myself a lot of time.
Stream keys are the ones generated by either Owncast or PeerTube and I have been certain to use the correct ones. I can use Owncast without any issues.
The biggest issue would be the Lightning plugin in PeerTube. This prevents me having Boostagrams and streaming for sats.

Ah yeah I have had a lot of trouble with peertube stuff too, never got that figured out. I am going to start hosting the video side of our shows just directly on our dreamhost web server
Maybe that’s the way… saw that I can host from a Wordpress site so may end up building that unless lightning gets patched quickly.
