when i saw it ithought "that sorta looks like skank dancing" but it's not ska it's hardcore
Yeah that's the right answer 🚀
Yeah they started as a punk-hardcore band in the early eighties, after a while they switched to metal thrash sound, which disappointed me a lot at that moment but got to admit they still made some memorable songs
🤘
This was their sound before turning into metalheads 🔥🔥🔥 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=farFbNMNJm8
reminds me a bit of Descendents and Black Flag mashed together
my late teens were all about this kind of music, and skateboards, and smoking weed and having parties out in the middle of nowhere (several of my friends lived on the edge of town)... and a couple of my buddies we were rather fond of pranks and very silly things like throwing computer monitors out of fast moving cars to watch the sparks
Omg those monitors were sturdy, what a crazy frens lol
yeh... and this wouldn't happen at low speed, gotta load em up with inertia to make them really pop, i forget how fast but maybe 80km/h at least
the plastic shells on them are made out of ABS plastic which is stiff like polystyrene and resilient like synthetic rubber (same as used in car tires) - so yeah, some extra speed to make its impact include the inertia of this much speed and yeah, they make pretty sparks from the metallic parts inside them, the tube and the circuitboards, get hot enough to catch fire briefly
