What do you recommend for someone who wants to get a gun first time? Is there a brand or type?

Go to a range. Try a few types out, see what fits your hands, what recoil you can handle and feels comfortable to fire.

Also, what do you want it for ? Personal EDC or hone defense??

Eventully both

many considerations for a first-time cordless hole punch owner.

1st: if you don’t practice regularly it’s about as useless as a paper weight. So find out where you can get live reps often & safely in your area.

2nd: go with an expert first, someone who can teach you how to assemble & handle the tool with explicit fundamental safety instructions.

3rd: consider taking some safety courses if you don’t have any experience.

4th: the hole punch market can be pricey, I recommend starting in .22 LR caliber for both rifle & pistole so you can get thousands of rounds under your belt for dirt cheap.

to that end I recommend the glock 44. exact same size as a compact G19, the classic duty hole punch.

.22 rifles are dirt cheap as well and come in endless varieties. Ammo shortages are real, this is probably the most readily available cartridge world-wide.

5th: study the art. watch video. practice.

When you have thousands of reps go try everything and see what you like and feels comfortable in your hands. I like glocks, the 48 slimline is amazing for a concealed 9. But many prefer other makes & models. Comes down to taste and reliability. Too many great rifles to name. Beware, hole punch collecting is hyper addicting!

Appreciate all the details. This seems real proof of work 😅

definitely
