I was wondering how it would work when someone is offline and was sent a message without a server. I personally haven't used this but I have been looking for a replacement for Signal that would be a little more normie friendly that syncs across multiple devices.

I got this from their GitHub

"Asynchronous messaging: because messages sync to all members, members can communicate without being contemporaneously online, provided that there is "continuous liveness", a continuous chain of online peers who each sync the latest updates, between the sender and the recipient."

That's the reason I found this interesting when. It was shared with me

Have you tried Keychat? I tested it out last night with the wife on mobile after I saw this post. She was able to set it up. It creates a separate nsec and cashu wallet but didn't look to hard to manage.

I have not

Because I had no clue about it lol

not sure ita what you're looking for but its a nice UX.

l like that it uses email too instead of having another protocol. i have my own email server anyway, but you can use theirs no problem

Thank you much

I'll give it a look tonight. Keychat looks like it doesn't have voice or video calls yet. Kinda must have for me.

Yeah I would actually prefer that
