The Life of Greece by Will Durant, 4p
He was covering sculptors, and their styles and preferred subject matters. How they were good with horses and okay with other animals. Good with women, but truly masterful and enjoyed sculpting the athlete. Also their bronze methods and how they’d skillfully use loss casting with clay and wax to achieve such great detail.
