As long as apple prevents sideloading, this isn't going to change for iOS. Is there a sovereign way to setup iOS? Sorry, i know nothing about apple, and have no way to recommend guidance.
I agree that it’s a great business case. It just goes a bit out of what I believed was the first intention. It’s sad that it feels like this space is becoming more like Wall Street with a few unregistered companies that have monopoly and create needs and selling a vision of sovereignty when in reality we are just a bunch of sheeps in a corn field.

That’s right, Apple’s system was initially their strength since it was more “secure” because they have a strict regime to keep their ecosystem free of malware.
Unfortunately it turns out to be a censorship regime. You need to trade off convenience with liberty.
