I don't see any option to include a note with a zap on amethyst app on my Droid... This sounds like a great advertising model I would like to try.

The image could be your actual advert with a QR code taken you to the offer. It would look like this. Check your notifications I wonder if the image shows on your app(s).

I can add this reply/note here and have the option for attachments, I'm not seeing option with the note of a wallet of satoshi zap.

this. you can put pretty much anything in there. perhaps even a short promotional clip (haven't tried mp4 yet). images and gifs however work cause we've spammed the hell out of them a couple of months ago when it became known 😅

I'll add a note to a zap in wallet of satoshi just so folks know why I #zapd & who it's coming from, I usually reply & zap but i hardly ever click the ❤️ (using amethyst)
I see value in the interaction, just hitting the heart button doesn't seem like enough for me. if I have something to say, I'll say it in a reply and I figure if I'm going to say something I might as well send some sats too. just seems right.

Ah, so it's not just a public note for all to see, you just see it. The way I read the article is that the more you pledge in the zap the higher it shows. If no one else can see it how can it be considered advertising?
I think it's "on the chain " for all to see if they look.

Not sure what article you are talking about, sorry Sir Notes with many zaps or sats are shown in Primal I think or other clients that use that feature to make highlight and create trend notes or profile.. this is what I understood

A bit off topic but I'm not a big fan of apps. If I can run a service or access a website (twitch for example) via the phone's browser why do I need an app? Today we seem to need an app for everything though many sites just wrap their site into an app and throw it in the store. Then we keep buying new phones every other year so that we can install more apps we don't need LOL

I did this yesterday adding my Etsy link. With damus I had to manually add the note each time but it was pretty easy
