Whoever controls the payment rails can still exert influence, meaning true freedom isn’t really achieved.

With #Nostr, we have a real opportunity to break that cycle, but it requires creators and users to understand that decentralization isn’t just about avoiding content restrictions—it’s also about breaking free from the financial gatekeepers.
