This is a great prayer to repeat consistently throughout the day to keep your mind focused on Christ, enabling you to pray without ceasing like Paul says in his first epistle to the Thessalonians.

I have found that to be true. I believe I learned it from an eastern orthodox priest on youtube and I've heard several variations.
Personally I use this one. "Lord Jesus Christ, son of God, have mercy on us."
I prefer to use 'us' rather than 'me' because we all need the light 🙏
